Fashion brand Veronica Beard is expanding its Manhattan headquarters after renewing its lease at 26 W. 17th St. The company will increase its space by 15,000 square feet, bringing its total footprint to approximately 60,000 square feet. The deal signals continued confidence in the building, its location and the brand’s future growth.

Key takeaways

  • Veronica Beard renewed and expanded its headquarters lease.
  • The company will occupy approximately 60,000 square feet.
  • Its footprint grew by 15,000 square feet.
  • The brand will occupy six floors in the Manhattan building.

The expansion reflects Veronica Beard’s decision to remain at 26 W. 17th St. while adding space to support its operations. The company will occupy the entire second, third, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth floors.

A larger headquarters footprint

The additional 15,000 square feet gives Veronica Beard more room within its existing headquarters location. Rather than relocating, the fashion company is consolidating its presence across multiple floors of the property, increasing its operational capacity while maintaining continuity in its Manhattan base.

The approximately 60,000-square-foot lease represents a meaningful expansion for the company and provides space that can accommodate continued business development. The transaction also underscores the value of flexible, high-quality office space for established brands.

Leasing representation

CBRE’s David Stockel and Taylor Walker led the leasing campaign and represented the building’s ownership, The Winter Organization, in negotiations. TJ Hochanadel and Rob Martin of JLL represented Veronica Beard.

The deal brings together representatives for both the landlord and tenant as the company renews its commitment to the property. The arrangement allows Veronica Beard to expand without giving up its existing location.

Confidence in the office market

Stockel said Veronica Beard’s decision to renew and expand demonstrates confidence in both the property and the company’s growth trajectory. He added that the transaction reflects ongoing demand from established tenants seeking office environments that support collaboration, company culture and expansion.

The lease provides another example of tenants choosing to grow within well-located buildings rather than pursue entirely new headquarters. For 26 W. 17th St., the transaction reinforces the property’s appeal to companies seeking a substantial Manhattan office presence.
