Related Group and Alta Developers have delivered Casa Bella Residences by B&B Italia at 1400 Biscayne Boulevard, marking the Italian design brand’s first residential development. The 56-story Downtown Miami tower contains 319 homes, including 10 penthouses. More than 90% of residences are under contract, and closings are underway as residents begin moving in.
Key takeaways
- The 650-foot tower was developed by Related Group and Alta Developers in partnership with B&B Italia.
- Piero Lissoni led the interiors, working with Arquitectonica on the architecture and Enzo Enea on the landscape design.
- Two floors of amenities include wellness facilities, gardens, pools and social spaces.
- The project broke ground in November 2023; Coastal Construction was the general contractor, with construction financing from Cain International.
The delivery adds a design-branded residential address to Downtown Miami’s Arts and Cultural District. The developers say the tower’s completion follows years of investment in the area, where cultural venues, transit links and new residential projects have helped expand the neighborhood’s appeal.
A first residential project for B&B Italia
Casa Bella translates B&B Italia’s design approach into a residential building for the first time. Lissoni, through Lissoni New York, curated interiors from the lobby through shared spaces, with furnishings by the Italian brand featured across common areas and amenities. Arquitectonica designed the tower, while Enzo Enea shaped its landscaping.
Residences include ITALKRAFT cabinetry, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, and finishes selected by Lissoni. Each home has two private elevators, a private vestibule with biometric access, and layouts designed to frame views of Biscayne Bay and the city skyline.
Upper-floor homes and amenities
The Cielo Collection comprises 16 residences on floors 48 through 51. At the top of the tower, 10 penthouses offer seven floor plans, 12-foot ceilings, B&B Italia furnishings and Italian finishes. Some corner homes include rooftop terraces, spa pools and indoor-outdoor kitchens.
Amenities span two floors and include a fitness center overlooking the bay, yoga studios, a spa and beauty salon, theater, wine cellar, game room, children’s playroom and co-working lounge. Outdoor features include landscaped gardens, an 80-foot lap pool, cabanas, a café, pickleball court and dining areas. A second pool, rooftop lounge and observatory sit on the 56th-floor Sky Pool Terrace.
A changing Downtown Miami
The tower is close to Pérez Art Museum Miami, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, Kaseya Center and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. The source article cites the Miami Downtown Development Authority’s 2025 demographics report, which counted more than 101,000 Downtown residents—nearly 68% more than in 2012.
Fortune Development Sales is the project’s exclusive sales team. With closings underway and a limited number of homes remaining, Casa Bella’s completion brings a large-scale Italian design collaboration into one of Miami’s rapidly growing urban neighborhoods.
