A property tied to the singer’s history
Gabriel, whose given name was Alberto Aguilera Valadez, was known to audiences as “El Divo de Juárez.” He died in 2016 at age 66. His career included more than 1,500 songs and over 100 million albums sold, according to the report. The Latin Recording Academy named him Person of the Year in 2009.
An LLC acquired the property for $9 million in 2022, according to public records cited in the report. It has since undergone major changes. The current listing is represented by Angeline Earnest of Coldwell Banker Realty and Tommy Crivello of the Tommy Crivello Real Estate Group.
Six buildings and extensive amenities
The estate’s six structures include a five-bedroom main house, a three-bedroom guest house, a clubhouse, a wellness retreat, an air-conditioned two-car garage and a basketball facility. The guest house has a kitchen suited to hosting larger gatherings, while the garage covers about 2,000 square feet.
The covered basketball facility spans about 10,500 square feet and includes professional athletic flooring, a locker room, a viewing balcony, a conference room and a smoothie bar. It is currently used by a nonprofit basketball organization, the report said.
The clubhouse offers a private theater, gaming stations and a full bar. The wellness building includes a gym, sauna, steam room, cold plunge, massage room and tanning bed. The property also has two swimming pools, one with waterfalls and a jumping rock, along with a tiki pavilion equipped with grills, televisions and a bar.
Landscaped grounds
Walking paths link the buildings and outdoor areas across the grounds. The landscaping features fruit trees and orchards, several ponds—including a secluded koi pond reached by a bridge—and illuminated murals and sculptures. Together, the amenities give the estate a resort-style character while reflecting the scale of its transformation since Gabriel’s time there.
