Palm Beach County is experiencing a significant surge in high-profile real estate activity as developers push forward on transformative commercial and residential projects. From luxury branded residences in West Palm Beach to new class-A office spaces in Boca Raton, the region is rapidly evolving into a premier destination for global business and high-end living.

Key takeaways

  • Mr. C Hotel & Residences in West Palm Beach has surpassed 85% in sales.
  • Charles Cohen has officially restarted the long-stalled West Palm Point office project.
  • New class-A office developments are breaking ground in Boca Raton to meet corporate demand.
  • Luxury residential demand remains robust across the county as developers prioritize hospitality-driven amenities.

Luxury living in West Palm Beach

The residential landscape in West Palm Beach is being redefined by the Mr. C Hotel & Residences. Developed by Terra and Sympatico Real Estate, this 27-story project has become the fastest-selling new development in the city, recently surpassing the 85% sales threshold. The project, which is currently undergoing vertical construction, is set to deliver 110 hotel suites and 146 branded residences by 2027.

Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Meyer Davis, the tower introduces a new standard of living that blends European elegance with coastal functionality. Residents will have access to a variety of high-end amenities, including a signature spa, a private members’ lounge, and a hospitality-driven concierge team. This project marks a significant shift toward branded, service-oriented luxury in the heart of the city.

Office market expansion

The commercial sector is seeing renewed momentum as developers move to capitalize on the region’s growing status as an office hub. Charles Cohen has restarted the development of West Palm Point, a 400,000-square-foot office tower in downtown West Palm Beach. After resolving a foreclosure lawsuit, the project is now moving through the permitting process, featuring ground-floor retail and an expansive parking structure.

In Boca Raton, a consortium consisting of Butters Construction, PEBB Enterprises, and Konsker Development is joining forces to deliver a new class-A office project. This development aims to provide modern, high-quality workspace to support the influx of businesses relocating to South Florida. These projects collectively indicate that the demand for premium office space remains a primary driver of the county’s economic growth.

Regional growth trends

The current development cycle highlights a clear preference for projects that offer walkability and integrated amenities. Whether it is the luxury residential market or the corporate office sector, developers are increasingly focusing on creating environments that support a seamless lifestyle. As these projects continue to advance, they are expected to further solidify Palm Beach County’s reputation as a top-tier metropolitan destination in Florida.
