Miami’s vibrant culinary scene is set to welcome a taste of Italy with the announcement that Mannarino, a celebrated Italian butcher shop and kitchen, will open its inaugural U.S. location at The Standard Residences, Midtown Miami. This expansion marks a significant moment for the Milan-founded brand, known for its modern interpretation of Southern Italian food culture.

Key Takeaways

  • Mannarino, with 23 locations across Italy, is making its U.S. debut in Miami.
  • The concept emphasizes quality, craftsmanship, and community, rooted in the tradition of the neighborhood butcher shop.
  • The Miami location will offer a unique interactive experience, from selecting prime cuts to enjoying prepared dishes.
  • The opening is slated for Fall 2026, with The Standard Residences, Midtown Miami now fully leased in its retail spaces.

A Modern Take on Italian Tradition

Founded in Milan, Mannarino has established itself across Italy with 23 locations, all while preserving the cultural significance of the traditional butcher shop. The brand offers a unique, interactive experience where customers can select prime cuts of meat, guided by expert butchers, to enjoy at home or have prepared on-site. This approach centers on quality ingredients and a deep connection to food culture.

What to Expect at the Miami Location

The Miami outpost will feature Mannarino’s signature offerings, including their renowned "The Bombette" rolled meat specialty, grilled chicken skewers, carpaccio, and Italian Tartare made with Piedmontese Fassona beef from the brand’s own farms. Guests will have the option to dine in or purchase cuts to prepare at home, with expert guidance available. The space itself will reflect Mannarino’s aesthetic, blending natural materials and curated design for a warm, modern Italian market ambiance.

A Perfect Fit for Midtown Miami

Carlos Rosso, Founder and CEO of Rosso Development, expressed enthusiasm for Mannarino’s arrival, stating, "Mannarino brings something genuinely different to the neighborhood and their concept will meaningfully elevate the Midtown experience." He highlighted the brand’s alignment with The Standard’s values of culture, conversation, and authenticity. The announcement also signifies the lease of the final retail space at The Standard Residences, Midtown Miami, which is reportedly 96% sold.

Mannarino’s Vision

Gianmarco Venuto, Founder of Mannarino, shared his excitement about entering the U.S. market: "We are incredibly excited to bring our passion for authentic Italian food and culture to the U.S. market." He emphasized that Mannarino is more than just a place to eat; it’s a gathering spot that celebrates craftsmanship, tradition, and community. The vibrant and culturally rich setting of Midtown Miami was deemed the ideal location to introduce this experience to American consumers.
