MIAMI REALTORS + RWorld has completed its merger with Martin County REALTORS of the Treasure Coast, extending one real estate association and multiple listing service across five South Florida counties. The expanded organization represents about 94,000 members and nearly 7 million residents, while advancing plans for a more unified regional MLS system.
Key takeaways
- The merger adds Martin and St. Lucie counties to coverage already spanning Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.
- The combined organization serves a roughly 120-mile corridor and describes its MLS as the nation’s third-largest.
- Members gain broader data access, technology, education and advocacy resources.
- BeachesMLS and MIAMI MLS are expected to move toward a single MLS structure.
A broader South Florida network
The merger brings the Martin County association, founded in 1926, into MIAMI REALTORS + RWorld’s regional network. The resulting organization operates across five counties through 15 offices, creating a larger platform for residential, commercial and investment real estate professionals.
Association leaders said the consolidation gives agents a more complete view of properties across a market that increasingly operates as one connected region. Martin County members supported the move, which officials characterized as a way to preserve the local association’s legacy while expanding its resources and regional influence.
One data set for a connected market
The expanded MLS provides agents with access to listings throughout the five-county corridor rather than requiring them to navigate separate regional systems. Members will have access to both Flexmls and Matrix platforms, free IDX feeds from MIAMI MLS and BeachesMLS, free Supra access and more than 2,800 education programs annually.
Dionna Hall, co-chief executive officer of MIAMI REALTORS + RWorld, said the central value of an MLS remains its role as a trusted, comprehensive source of property information. She is scheduled to become the organization’s sole CEO in 2027.
BeachesMLS and MIAMI MLS integration
The merger follows the April combination of Miami Realtors and RWorld and sets the stage for further MLS integration. Hall said data from BeachesMLS and MIAMI MLS has already been combined into a single IDX feed, allowing brokers and agents to use the broader data set in their websites, back-office systems and other tools.
The organizations are also comparing products and developing one set of rules and regulations. A unified rulebook is intended to reduce confusion over which policies apply to a listing and give members a more consistent operating framework. The next phase is expected to address the structure of a combined MLS board.
Advocacy and competition
Leaders present the consolidation as more than a technology initiative. A larger membership base could strengthen advocacy at local, state and federal levels while giving agents expanded education, data-sharing and global partnership opportunities.
Hall said the organization will continue working with Florida Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She also urged agents to use the new tools to deepen expertise in specialized markets, while emphasizing that technology and artificial intelligence do not replace customer service or long-term client relationships.
