The Florida mansion famously featured in the movie “Magic Mike” has received a substantial price reduction, now seeking $8.4 million after a $1.4 million cut. This marks the second price adjustment for the Tierra Verde property since it first hit the market last May for $12 million, and was subsequently relisted in November for $9.8 million. The sellers are reportedly adjusting to the current market conditions, aiming to position the estate attractively within the competitive Tampa Bay real estate landscape.

Key Takeaways

  • The "Magic Mike" mansion in the Tampa Bay area has had its asking price reduced by $1.4 million.
  • The current asking price is $8.4 million, down from an initial listing of $12 million.
  • The Mediterranean-style home was still under construction during the filming of "Magic Mike."

A Glimpse Inside The ‘Magic Mike’ Mansion

Completed in 2013, the Mediterranean-style mansion served as a backdrop for the film, with Channing Tatum’s character working at the construction site during the movie’s production. The estate spans approximately 7,825 square feet across three levels and sits on about a third of an acre, boasting nearly 200 feet of waterfront along Tampa Bay.

The first floor is designed for main living, featuring a double-height great room, an office, a home theater, and a dining room that flows into a kitchen. The kitchen offers bar seating and expansive windows framing views of the bay and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The primary suite is also located on this level, complete with a sitting area, ample closet space, a well-appointed bathroom, and a private balcony.

Upstairs, the home offers five additional bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms share access to a balcony that includes a staircase leading to a rooftop deck. Another pair of bedrooms are situated in a separate wing that also includes a guest living room, dining room, and kitchen.

Outdoor Amenities And Property Details

The lower level of the mansion is dedicated to storage and garage space, capable of housing up to five vehicles. Outside, accessible from the lower level, is a covered patio equipped with a wet bar. This area leads to a heated saltwater pool and hot tub, perfect for enjoying the bay views. The property also includes its own private dock.

Records indicate the sellers originally purchased the home in June 2009 for $1.2 million. The current price adjustment reflects the sellers’ recognition of the prevailing market dynamics, with the listing agent emphasizing that the estate remains a prime offering for waterfront property in the Tampa Bay area.
