Leasing has officially begun at the newly opened Centro City Residences, a significant development marking the first phase of the expansive Centro City master plan. This project promises to transform Miami’s West Little Havana neighborhood with a blend of residential, retail, and recreational spaces, aiming to create a vibrant, connected urban environment.

Key Takeaways

  • The opening of Centro City Residences signifies the completion of phase one for the larger Centro City master plan.
  • The development includes studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, with rents starting at $2,400 per month.
  • Future phases will introduce a retail district anchored by a Target and additional housing units.

A New Residential Hub

Centro City Residences, developed by Terra, is now welcoming residents to its 3830 NW 11th Street location. The building offers a variety of apartment layouts, including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, with monthly rents commencing at $2,400. Residents can enjoy a suite of amenities designed for modern urban living, such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, dedicated yoga and spinning studios, and convenient on-site parking equipped with electric vehicle charging stations. The community also boasts two resort-style pools with cabanas, providing a luxurious escape.

Vision for a Connected Community

David Martin, CEO of Terra, emphasized the project’s commitment to creating thoughtfully designed communities that integrate harmoniously with their surroundings. "Centro City Residences reflects Terra’s commitment to creating thoughtfully designed communities that integrate seamlessly into their surroundings," Martin stated. He highlighted the development’s strategic location, offering residents proximity to cultural landmarks, educational institutions, and green spaces, thereby fostering a unique balance of connectivity and lifestyle opportunities. The project aims to serve as a model for sustainable urban living, enhancing the broader community through its integration of quality architecture with accessible transit, education, and recreation.

Future Development Plans

The completion of Centro City Residences represents a crucial milestone in the ongoing development of the Centro City master plan. Future plans for phase one include the establishment of a retail zone, prominently featuring a Target store. Phase two of the construction is slated to commence in 2026, with the addition of 518 new housing units. This phased approach ensures a comprehensive development that will introduce a retail district, multiple multifamily residential projects, expansive green spaces, and a charter school to the West Little Havana area.
