A disturbing home invasion targeting the CEO of a prominent South Florida real estate company has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting growing security concerns. Burglars broke into the Miami-Dade residence of Bobby Suarez, founder of SelltoBobby.com, while he and his family slept, making off with valuables and a luxury vehicle.

Key Takeaways

  • The home of Bobby Suarez, CEO of SelltoBobby.com, was burglarized early Friday morning.
  • Two masked intruders gained entry to the gated residence and were inside for approximately 28 minutes.
  • The burglars stole a Porsche, car keys, purses, and other items.
  • Suarez and his family expressed feelings of violation and a loss of safety.
  • A significant reward is being offered for information leading to the suspects’ arrest.

The Incident Unfolds

Early Friday morning, around 3 a.m., two individuals, described as wearing black hoodies, managed to breach the security of Bobby Suarez’s gated home in Northwest Miami-Dade. Surveillance footage captured the intruders scaling a fence and forcing their way into the residence. Suarez reported that the burglars were inside his home for nearly half an hour, moving through the house with apparent ease.

A Sense of Violation

Suarez, who is well-known for his company’s commercials, expressed deep distress over the incident. "We feel violated," he stated, adding, "We honestly don’t feel safe anymore." The burglars were seen rummaging through the home, including the bedrooms of Suarez’s two young daughters. This detail particularly frightened Suarez, who worried about what could have happened if his children had woken up during the intrusion.

Stolen Property and Lingering Fears

Among the items stolen was Suarez’s Porsche, along with his wife’s car keys, purses, and expensive glasses. The brazen nature of the crime, occurring within a gated community, has amplified concerns about personal safety and property security. Suarez emphasized the potential danger posed by the intruders, questioning their willingness to commit such a crime and what other actions they might be capable of.

Community Response and Investigation

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is investigating the break-in. Suarez has announced a substantial reward of $50,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the individuals responsible. He hopes that by sharing the surveillance footage and offering a reward, the public can assist law enforcement in bringing the perpetrators to justice and restoring a sense of security to the community.
