Showcase Properties introduces Tina Halsteter, an Ocala Broker Associate whose lifelong passion for horses and entrepreneurial spirit have shaped her successful career in real estate. With deep roots in Marion County’s equestrian community, Halsteter leverages her extensive experience to help clients find their perfect home or farm.
A Lifelong Equestrian and Entrepreneur
Tina Halsteter’s journey in Marion County is deeply intertwined with her love for horses and a knack for business. Born and raised on a farm in upstate New York, her equestrian journey began at the age of six with her first pony. This passion continued through her involvement in FFA and 4-H.
- Halsteter moved to Ocala in 2005, drawn by the renowned horse country and milder climate.
- She successfully grew a startup business, Sneak-E-Snacks, which produced all-natural horse treats, expanding its reach to 23 stores before selling it in 2022.
- Her personal experience buying and renovating properties laid the groundwork for her real estate career.
Transitioning to Real Estate
Halsteter’s transition into real estate was a natural progression, fueled by her extensive experience with property transactions. She obtained her real estate license in 2020 and began working in the office for Showcase Properties before becoming a Broker Associate and REALTOR®.
She currently owns two horses, Dakota and Reese, and enjoys trail riding on her 12-acre farm, with direct access to Black Sink Prairie. Her deep understanding of the equestrian lifestyle provides a significant advantage when assisting clients seeking properties in the "Horse Capital of the World®."
Community Involvement and Client Dedication
Making a positive impact in her community is a core value for Halsteter. She has dedicated years to various equestrian and therapeutic organizations, including serving on the board of directors for the Marion Therapeutic Riding Association for seven years and as a barn judge at HITS for six years. She also recently stepped down from the board to focus more on local shelters and rescues.
Starting in 2026, she will chair the grievance committee for the Ocala/Marion County Association of REALTORS® (OMCAR). Halsteter is committed to helping people find not just a house, but the next chapter of their lives, whether it’s a farm or a home on the water. She and her husband are also avid boaters, enjoying Florida’s waterways.
Halsteter’s dedication is evident in her approach, as she states, "Rooted in family, grounded by my farm and driven by my passion for real estate, I bring the same dedication and attention to detail to my customers that I do to being a wife, mom and steward of the land."
