Texas A&M News: Aggie Commits Confirm Their Future
In a recent turn of events, two Texas A&M commits have publicly affirmed their dedication to the program. Four-star EDGE Samu Moala and four-star wide receiver Madden Williams, both from California, have expressed their commitment by officially shutting down their recruitments.
Moala made his announcement via social media, following a successful visit to A&M, where he turned down a strong push from nearby UCLA.
Williams, who had taken visits to notable schools including Arizona State and Florida State, also confirmed he would remain with the Aggies. His decision comes after a visit to A&M last weekend, dispelling concerns regarding interest from USC.
Former Aggies Make Their Mark in Basketball
Wade Taylor and Zhuric Phelps, former Texas A&M basketball stars, are taking significant steps into the professional arena. Both have signed contracts to compete in the NBA 2K26 Summer League in Las Vegas from July 10 to 20.
- Taylor, the all-time leading scorer at A&M, will be showcasing his talents with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he had a stellar season averaging 15.7 points per game.
- Phelps, who transferred in pursuit of a sixth year, signed with the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 13.6 points per game during his sole season at A&M.
Record-Breaking Performance by Dylan Rock
Dylan Rock, a former Texas A&M outfielder, has captivated audiences with a remarkable performance, hitting home runs in eight consecutive games for the Lexington Legends in the Atlantic League. His streak is a testament to his incredible power, and he nearly set the professional baseball record for the longest home run streak.
- Season Stats: .262 batting average, 13 homers, and 31 RBIs over 53 games.
