Three real estate firms have joined HouseCanary’s Google Listings Program, giving active listings from more than 1,000 agents the opportunity to appear in Google mobile search in participating markets. The move includes Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group, alongside The Ashton Real Estate Group and ENRG Realty, and aims to make listings easier for homebuyers to discover online.
Key takeaways
- Listings from the three brokerages can appear in a carousel near the top of Google mobile search results in live markets.
- The program includes more than 1,000 agents across the participating firms.
- HouseCanary says it is expanding the initiative to eligible U.S. markets, working through participating multiple listing services (MLSs).
How listings appear in Google search
When someone searches for homes on Google mobile in a market where the program is active, participating listings may appear in a prominent carousel. Each result includes basic property details and identifies the listing brokerage. Users can tap through to a page with further information, the listing agent’s name and an option to contact the agent.
The new participants are REMAX Advantage, home to The Ashton Real Estate Group and The Sandoval Team; Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group; and ENRG Realty. The announcement does not specify how many listings from each brokerage will appear or in which individual markets they will be shown.
Brokerages seek wider exposure
The firms’ participation reflects an effort to put their clients’ properties in front of potential buyers who begin their home search on Google. Gary Ashton, founder of The Ashton Real Estate Group, described the program as a way to increase listing exposure and create more opportunities for agents.
HouseCanary CEO Chris Rediger said brokerages joining the initiative are seeking broader visibility for their listings. The program’s reach will depend on market availability and participating MLS arrangements.
How the program is expanding
Launched in early 2026, the Google Listings Program is powered by HouseCanary, which works with MLSs to make member brokerages’ listings available to Google. HouseCanary said it was expanding the program to all eligible U.S. markets during fall 2026.
Participating MLSs named in the announcement include ARMLS, Bright MLS, California Regional MLS, IRES MLS, My State MLS, the Permian Basin Board of Realtors, REcolorado and San Diego MLS. Brokerages can participate through an MLS already involved or encourage their local MLS to join. Availability therefore depends on whether a market is covered and listings meet the program’s requirements.
