SB Development and Hazelton Capital Group have officially broken ground and commenced sales for The Cove Residences, A Waterfront Collection, a new 40-story luxury condominium tower situated in Miami’s vibrant Edgewater neighborhood. This development promises a unique blend of urban energy and serene bayfront living.

Key Takeaways

  • Sales have launched for The Cove Residences, a 40-story luxury tower in Edgewater.
  • The development features 134 one- to four-bedroom condominiums with premium amenities.
  • Construction financing of $170 million has been secured.
  • The project is slated for completion in 2028, with starting prices in the $900,000s.

A New Waterfront Lifestyle

The Cove Residences will offer 134 meticulously designed one- to four-bedroom condominiums. Each unit will feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows and expansive wrap-around terraces, providing breathtaking views. The interiors are appointed with custom kitchens, spa-like bathrooms, and thoughtful, tailored details, creating a highly personal living experience.

Joseph Stern, co-founder and principal at SB Development, highlighted the project’s vision: "The Cove Residences will bring an important new residential offering to Edgewater: a highly personal, thoughtfully considered lifestyle connected to nature. The residences deliver an intimate experience surrounded by the energy of the city while also immersing owners in the calm and serenity of Biscayne Bay. Striking this balance was crucial to our concept, and we’re excited to bring it to life."

Unparalleled Community Amenities

Residents of The Cove Residences will have access to a comprehensive suite of community amenities designed for comfort and convenience. These include a stunning waterfront infinity pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, dedicated wellness spaces, and versatile shared work areas. For leisure and entertainment, the building will feature a game and billiards lounge and a grand theater. Additional services such as a healthcare concierge, car-sharing access, and private docks further enhance the exclusive lifestyle offered.

Prime Location and Design

The architectural design, a collaboration between Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design and Dieguez Fridman Architects, emphasizes the building’s enviable waterfront location. Adam Westreich, principal at Hazelton Capital Group, commented on the site’s significance: "There are limited opportunities to live directly on the waterfront in Miami, so The Cove Residences emphasizes its enviable location in Edgewater, providing both park and direct water frontage and sitting just 25 feet from the seawall. This is a very special site, and we’ve designed a privileged residential experience that showcases that and aligns with how people want to live today."

The project has secured $170 million in construction and land financing from Bravo Property Trust and IDB. Kaufman Lynn Construction is serving as the general contractor. The Eklund | Gomes team at Douglas Elliman Development is spearheading the sales and marketing efforts for this highly anticipated development, which is expected to welcome residents in 2028. Starting prices for these luxury condominiums begin in the $900,000s.
